Dionne Coatie is a multi-faceted change agent, coach, author, and speaker. Trained in Family Systems Therapy, Dionne has a Bachelor of Science in Social Work degree from Morehead State University, a Master of Science in Social Work degree from the University of Louisville Kent School of Social Work, and is experienced in providing social work, coaching, counseling, grant writing, program development, networking, resource development, and more.

Dionne excels at bringing out greatness in others by combining warmth, encouragement, and motivation in a conversational tone sprinkled with solution-focused questions and growth mindset prompts. Dionne believes in empowering women through education and advocacy, cultivating potential, and championing them to become the best version of themselves no matter what phase or stage of life they are in.

Dionne has served as a Board Member for The Professional Woman Network since 2019 and in 2021 Dionne was the Closing Speaker for the Professional Women Network International Conference. Dionne is a Certified Mental Health Coach (CMHC), A Certified Women’s Empowerment Coach (CWEC), a Certified Holistic Life Coach (CHLC), a Certified Youth Coach (CYC), and a Certified Diversity Trainer (CDT) with Special Emphasis in Women’s Issues. 

Dionne is also a published author contributing to anthologies focused on self-help and women’s empowerment as well as encouragement and inspiration. Dionne’s latest work is “The Hand of God” from The Power of God anthology.
